Our team members in France are employed by OysterHR which means that OysterHR is the plan owner. Currently they offer a healthcare plan through Alan which you are automatically enrolled in.

💲Cost of Coverage
- Maze pays for the premium for the full-time team member's coverage
- OysterHR has to split the cost of the coverage between the employee and the employer so you will see a deduction on your payslip, however this is made up for in Ben (please see how this impacts your Ben account below)
- For part-time team members working at least 15 hours per week: Maze will premiums at the following rates: 50% for team members working 15-23 hours/week, 75% for team members working 24-29 hours/week, and 100% for team members working 30+ hours/week. A monthly Ben deduction will be set up to cover your portion of the premium.
- You are able to add a spouse and/or dependents (children) to your plan. If you want to add a dependent to your plan, you will be responsible for the premium payment. We will set up a monthly auto withdrawal from your Ben allowance. You can only add dependents up to the amount of available Ben money you have per month.
- Dependents can be added to the plan, and Oyster will provide a 30-day window from the time the team members are enrolled to allow them to add their dependents to cover.
- Dependents can not be added outside this 30-day Team Member joining window unless at a life event (birth, adoption, marriage, divorce, death).

💻 Remote Work Stipend
Per French employment law, a Work From Home Allowance must be paid to employees working remotely. In your contract with Oyster HR, you may have noticed this mentioned and an additional €100 per month being added to your paycheck. (Please see how this impacts your Ben account below)
